Chardham Yatra is the famous religious journey in India, every year millions of pilgrims come to Uttarakhand to join Chardham yatra. The Chardham yatra word is made of 2 words i.e. char- four and Dham means – place. The journey to all four places together which are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath, and Kedarnath is called Chardham yatra. Mostly pilgrims travel during starting of yatra which is started in April and continues till the end of October. So pilgrims mostly travel during this season. But travelers avoid traveling in July and August due to the possibility of heavy rain. After the rain season Chardham journey again started in October and After October the gate of Dham’s closed till mid of April.
Day 1: Haridwar – Uttarkashi (190kms/ 6-7hr)
Early morning arrival at Haridwar, after performing some arrival ceremony activities we proceed to you for Haridwar Sight Seeing. Later drive to Uttarkashi. Late evening check in Hotel and take a few hours rest after that visit Vishwanath Temple. Dinner and Night stay at Haridwar Uttarkashi.
Day 2: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100kms/3-4 each side)
The morning after breakfast, we proceed our journey to Gangotri, on the way we explore the view of Himalaya and beautiful views of Harsil village, Bhagirathi River. After Gangotri Darshan, we return to Uttarkashi. Dinner and Night stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 3 : Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220kms/8-9hr)
Early morning after breakfast, directly travel to Guptkashi. Take dinner, Check in Hotel and overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 4: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30kms by road & 14kms Trek)
4th day Morning after breakfast, travel to Gaurikund, the journey starts from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. The trek is difficult which is not accessible by vehicle so starts the journey on foot or on by pony / Doli. Check in Hotel. Later visit Kedarnath Temple. Dinner, Night stay in the hotel at Kedarnath.
Day 5: Kedarnath – Rudraprayag (14Kms Down Trek & 75kms/3hr by Road)
Early morning, after Kedarnath temple Darshan proceeds journey to Gaurikund. After that, travel to Rudraprayag. Check in Hotel at Rudraprayag. Dinner and Night stay at Rudraprayag.
Day 6: Rudraprayag – Badrinath (165kms/7hr)
Drive to Badrinath. On arrival at Badrinath check into the Hotel. And after refreshment visits the Badrinath Temple, There are many other sightseeing places like Maatamoorti, Mana, Bhimkund Vyas Gufa, Charanpaduka and the famous “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Dinner and Overnight stay here.
Day 7: Badrinath – Joshimath (44kms/3hr) / Pipalkoti (85kms/4hr)
Early morning after breakfast, persons take a holy bath in the hot water spring named is Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal and Brahamakapal. Finally, return to Joshimath / Pipalkoti. Check in Hotel. Dinner and night stay in Joshimath.
Day 8: Joshimath – Rishikesh (255kms/8-9hr) / Pipalkoti – Rishikesh (210kms/7-8hr)
The morning after breakfast travel to dev Nagari (Haridwar) from Joshimath. Evening visit Shankracharaya Math & Narsingh Temple. Back to Rishikesh. Check in the Hotel. Dinner and Night stay in Rishikesh
Day 9: Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi (250kms/7-8hr)
it is our last day of Chardham yatra, drop at Railway station / Airport and Travel for onward journey.
